Sometimes I enjoy cooking when the mood hits, and not only have I published novels, but I’m the master of redesigning just about anything. Outside of writing, I love hiking, camping, spending time with my boys and their families, and taking long walks with my labs, Montana, Taylor, and Mandi. It works for me, and don’t see it coming to an end anytime soon. I create stories in my head all the time and find inspiration from odd places at times. So while I struggle at times with the written word, my imagination is boundless. The hubby tells me I have my own language, it can be frustrating and yet funny at times with the words I can create. Let’s just say the English language and I have challenges. It also never crossed my mind because I’m dyslexic. Crazy, right? It’s not that I didn’t want to read, I just didn’t have time while running my own accounting business, volunteering at schools and church, and raising a family. It never crossed my mind because I hadn’t even picked up a book to read in over 20 years. I can honestly say that I didn’t once think about writing prior to sitting down in May 2009. However, it wasn’t until 2009 that I figured out I could write a great story. I’ve always had an active imagination, and always required a release for my creativity.
